Google has launched a Palestinian domain with the words “Palestinian Territories” added to its logo. The new domain, www.google.ps, went online Aug. 13, becoming Google’s 160th separate domain.
It will allow Palestinians direct access to Google in Arabic, Ynetnews.com reported. Before, Palestinian users had to visit other country’s domains to use the search engine in Arabic. — jta
