JFCS volunteers of all ages help strengthen individuals and families throughout the Bay Area by extending a human touch and meaningful connections to the greater community. Each year, JFCS serves thousands of people, and volunteers are a critical component, providing their talents and time in many ways. Volunteer opportunities include friendly visits with seniors, the Canine Corps, supporting neurodivergent young adults, ESL and other immigrant assistance, food bank sorting and deliveries, holiday outreach, and more. Opportunities in San Francisco, on the Peninsula, and in Marin.

JFCS NextGen provides volunteer opportunities and social events for young adults. Mitzvah Makers provides family volunteering and social activities for families with children ages 5-10.
